During a converging of traumatic events in my life in 2021, the Sky Mirror Witch emerged as a powerful symbol of control. When in the midst of trauma, we try to find ways to keep control of ourselves, even if what we cling to is fantasy. The witch having control over nature itself, gives her ultimate dominion over her own body. Here, faced with herself in an electric sky, the witch conducts the elements of her own image in a magnificent and frightening song.
