Bush Babies Gone To Town
2020
Acrylic ink & pastel on paper
12"X16"
These Bush Babies in a New York City subway station were inspired by the multiple news stories of animals emerging from their hiding places in the forests and entering our deserted cities over the Covid-19 lockdown. It seemed an incredible and wildly humorous feat of Nature, to unleash this pandemic on us because it gave her a reprieve from the burden of us and at the same time provided the opportunity for her wilderness to expand and her creatures to wander.
